History

Sarah Kettlety and Nick Sear are the founders of Animal Antiks and are farm, land and animal management experts, who have run Manor Farm since September 2017 and Roylands Livery Yard between 2013 and 2017. Both are members of the National Farmers Union.

Sarah Kettlety

Sarah has over 20 years’ experience in working with children, young people and adults with emotional, behavioural, special needs and disabilities. Having been brought up with a variety of pets and always been an animal-mad owner, Sarah recognises first-hand the invaluable therapeutic and healing qualities animals provide.

As one of the first UK therapeutic foster carers since 2004 she has been dedicated to the continual development and support for those facing mental health issues. Leading the team at Animal Antiks Sarah holds an NVQ level 4 in Child Social Care and holds a wide various of teaching qualifications including TEFL English and level 3 PTLLS.

Nick Sear

Nick is the Farm Manager running the commercial side of Manor Farm having worked within the agricultural industry all his life. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise of farm and land management, stock handling and agricultural mechanics.

Nick supports Animal Antiks by imparting practical farming techniques to its students including assisting with land maintenance, machinery knowledge, wildlife conservation, boundary replanting, environment appreciation, and tree surgery.

Our Team

Animal Antiks has a dedicated qualified team of supporters, teachers, parents, carers and volunteers. Each team member has essential qualities covering animal husbandry, child welfare and education specialisms – all invaluable whilst working alongside this lovely crew.
