Walk With The Animals

Getting out into the fresh air, making new friends and taking a little exercise in beautiful countryside is a wonderful boost to your mental well-being. Add some friendly, characterful animals as your walk companions, and you have an amazing experience that helps you to relax, de-stress and recharge.

Animal Antiks offers lots of opportunities to take part in our Wellbeing Walks, each finishes with a drink and a piece of cake or biscuits in our cafe.

Once at the farm you will be introduced to the animals joining your walk and then head out across the tracks and fields with them. We will be walking for about an hour around the farm and then back to the yard for a well-earned  tea or coffee.

Please wear suitable closed-toe footwear and appropriate outerwear for the day’s weather.

Weekly Wellbeing Walk

We hold a weekly walk for participants to enjoy gentle exercise and fresh air, meet our friendly animals, and help overcome feelings of isolation, anxiety, or loneliness.

There is a community bus that collects from our meeting point in Aylesbury, which our supporters have generously funded. After the walk, the bus will then return you to the meeting point. Or you can make your own way to the farm.

You will need to complete our referral form to be considered for these walks. Once we have agreed on your place, we will contact you to confirm the first walk you will attend.

For those whose referral is accepted, there will be no charge to join these walks.

Alpaca Walks

We also offer Alpaca Walks for members of the public to book without needing a referral. Anyone can sign up for a place on these walks.

Participants can enjoy gentle exercise and fresh air, meet our friendly team of Alpacas, and feel relaxed and recharged by taking some time out to do something a bit different.

Your walk will take around one hour and is followed by a drink and a piece of cake or biscuits and a chance to chat back at our cafe.

Please call us on 01296 670996 to find out when these walks are taking place or to book a place.
